The Oakley Police Department confirmed it is assisting the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office with a significant investigation in the vicinity of the 4300 block of Gold Run Drive. According to officials, the incident involves an armed subject who has not yet been apprehended.

Authorities described the suspect as a white adult male in his mid-40s, last seen wearing a hat and a gray hooded sweatshirt. Residents in these areas were urged to remain inside their homes, secure doors and windows, and report any suspicious or unusual activity to law enforcement.
